Visit to Nor Cal

The two sisters in their final hours of being prego together.

Ethan and "Uncle Ecic" (yes, Ecic) hanging out on the front lawn at Nana and Papa's house. He loves to play tackle football and has a good arm already.

Say hello to Morgan Rae!
Eric and Kara with Dakota and Kate.

Last weekend we went to Nor Cal for a list of purposes. The most serious was to attend the funeral of my grandmother Betty Jung who died the prior week at the age of 92. The burial was in Sebastapool where our ancestor was the first mayor of the town. After the service the family went to Dillon Beach where Gram spent her summers at her family cabin. It was a great day with family and a wonderful opportunity to honor my grandmother who we will truly miss.

On another note, we also were able to be in town for the birth of our first niece, Morgan Rae, who was born on Friday! We were able to spend a lot of time with Ethan at Nana and Popa's house while his mom was in the hospital recovering from her C-section. Morgan is beautiful and we are excited that our baby girl will have another girl cousin so close in age to grow up with.

We also got to spend some time before the birth of Morgan with Troy and Bekah and their two girls, Dakota and Kate. We had a great time with them and it is fun to watch them grow up so fast.

Last week Kara's Aunt, Uncle and three cousins came to So. Cal for a family vacation. Thursday Eric went to a Padres game with Ryan and Trey while the Kara and the girls hit the beach. We ended the day at our favorite restaurant in San Diego, Il Fornaio. In case you are noticing, yes, Kara's cousin Brooke does look like Kara's twin...you are not the first to notice!
Thanks Ryan, Marcia, Brooke, Morgan and Trey for a great day. Hopefully we will see you again soon, our time with you was too short.

Welcome to our site!

So, we were trying to figure out an appropriate time to roll out our blog, and we finally found an occasion to do so. Come January a new female will be added to the Jung family, and we can't wait for her arrival.

Our goal of this blog is not to be just about our new addition... but it might be highly saturated with it, so beware!

Anyways, thanks for viewing and we hope to see you back here soon.
